Vinitas · Since 1987

Built one careful step at a time.

Vinitas began with one woman, one small salon and a belief that the work deserved to be done properly. Everything since has grown from there.

Where it began

Mrs. Vinita Jain started with what she knew mattered.

In 1987, Mrs. Vinita Jain opened a women-only salon in a small part of the family home in K.K. Nagar, Madurai. It was personal, practical and built close to the clients it served.

The setting was modest. The intention was not. Care, skill and the quality of the work came first—and that foundation still shapes Vinitas today.

The journey

Growth, change and what stayed constant.

  1. 1987

    Vinitas begins.

Mrs. Vinita Jain opens a women-only salon in a small part of the family home in K.K. Nagar, Madurai.

  2. 1996–97

A move to the main road.

The salon moves across to a more visible space on the main road—only about one hundred metres from where it began.

  3. 2001–02

    A second generation joins.

AJ enters the business and begins a small men’s section, extending the Vinitas experience while continuing to work directly with clients.

  4. 2011

    Kalavasal opens.

Vinitas adds a second Madurai location at Kalavasal.

  5. 2015

    Vinitas comes to Sivakasi.

The Velayutham Road salon opens, bringing Vinitas to a second city.

  6. Today

    Experience becomes a system.

Decades of practical knowledge are being built into consultation, service procedures, training and clear standards for every branch.

Lessons from every chapter

Not every kind of growth is the right kind.

Across the years, Vinitas also operated other salons and franchises. Those chapters brought practical and commercial lessons, including through COVID-19, and sharpened our focus on a smaller network with closer operational and quality oversight.

The lesson was simple: growth matters only when the standard can travel with it.

Experience, made repeatable

Good service shouldn’t happen by accident.

Around twenty-five years of AJ’s hands-on work with clients helped turn accumulated experience into a clearer method. Talent alone is not enough: the knowledge has to live in the system—not only in one person.

  1. 01

    Written into the process.

Service knowledge is organised into defined steps, so the important details are not left to memory or chance.

  2. 02

    Passed forward through training.

Employees learn the reason behind each step, supported by visual procedures, demonstration and assessment.

  3. 03

    Felt by the client.

The standard is not complete until the client feels the time, care, comfort and attention built into the service.

The work continues

Keep learning.

Experience is not a reason to stop changing. Vinitas keeps examining the process, refining training and using better tools where they genuinely improve the service.

The history gives us confidence. Learning keeps that confidence honest.
